Hi there!Abbey Carroll. I am a local to Colorado and left only briefly to complete my nursing degree in Oklahoma before moving back to the area. I have over 10 years of nursing experience in various positions and settings. While working extensively with adults of all ages, I found a passion in the mental health field. I have a deep interest in integrative care and believe that mental health must be addressed from multiple fronts. I am located in the Colorado SPRINGS office.
I became a nurse practitioner to improve understanding of mental health care within the community which nurtured my own growth. I hope to diminish the frustration this can cause. I support those with depression, bipolar depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, grief, and insomnia.
I strive to develop a nonjudgmental, educational, and empowering partnership with my patients to guide them through their healing journey. I believe that providers and patients should work together to identify goals of care and treatment options that will work best for them.
