I am a Harvard-trained board-certified geriatric psychiatrist. While I work with all adults, I specialize in the management of behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia, late life depression and anxiety, and the strain that family members experience when caring for those aging with dementia and mental illness. Common problems I address include apathy, agitation, insomnia, confusion, depression, anxiety, hallucinations, delusions and memory loss. I do not participate in Medicare or commercial insurance.
I offer the following services: Psychiatric evaluation, medication management, psychotherapy and counseling. I work with patients to learn about their challenges, and work on comprehensive plans, including medication and behavioral techniques, to address them. When appropriate, I also work closely with other family members.
In addition to my practice in Denver, I offer a house visit service in Pitkin, Eagle and Summit Counties, and telehealth care in Massachusetts and Illinois.
