About
I am a Denver-based, Harvard-trained board-certified psychiatrist and fellowship-trained geriatric psychiatrist. I specialize in the management of behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia, late life depression and anxiety, and family caregiver strain. I work with patients and families to improve quality of life for people living with dementia and their caregivers. Common problems I address include apathy, agitation, insomnia, confusion, depression, anxiety, hallucinations, delusions and memory loss. I will work with any adult in need of a psychiatrist.
I offer the following services: Psychiatric evaluation, medication management, psychotherapy and counseling. I work together with patients and family caregivers to learn about their challenges, and work on comprehensive plans, including medication and behavioral techniques, to address them.
I specialize in working with patients who live in assisted living facilities or memory care centers.
