As a experienced NP, I do not believe in scheduling "speedy appointments" as this compromises quality of care. My appointments are not rushed, to allow time for questions to be asked & time for you to be heard. I provide a safe place to encourage each patient to feel free to express their issues. I believe in being open & honest with each patient which are crucial in building & maintaining a trusting and genuine therapeutic alliance.
As a Nurse Practitioner for over 22 years, I have cared for a wide range of patients. I enjoy helping patients with Anxiety, ADHD, Panic Disorder, Depression, Sleep Issues and stress related to balancing work with family. I offer personalized psychiatric care, psychotherapy and specialized ADHD coaching sessions tailored for working parents and professionals
My interest in psychiatry started from caring for patients with sleep disorders, chronic lung diseases and severe mental health issues. After becoming a mother to children with ADHD, I became inspired to earn a 2nd certification as a Psychiatric NP. My combined personal & professional experience allows me to fully appreciate the importance of mental health.
