I offer a collaborative approach to helping clients achieve their goals. I believe in treating each person as a unique individual and together finding the best way toward wellbeing. This begins with a comprehensive evaluation which can last from one to four sessions where we will attempt to understand the current difficulties and discuss treatment options. I have experience treating a wide variety of psychological and emotional difficulties with psychotherapy and medication when appropriate. In my practice I offer psychotherapy and medication evaluation/management to patients who are already in therapy.
I have training in several modalities of psychotherapy including Psychodynamic, Interpersonal, and Emotionally Focused Couples/Family Therapy. I aim to help clients be present to their emotional experiences and develop insight into their psychological functioning.
I have a special interest in women's mental health, particularly issues around pregnancy and motherhood. I have experience and training working with women who have mental illness and are or are considering becoming pregnant.
