She is among a small group of psychiatrists who graduated from Geriatric Psychiatry fellowship from Weill Cornell Medical College, NY. After receiving her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College, India, Dr. Agepati pursued her higher studies in United Kingdom. She trained in the Worcestershire rotational training scheme in Psychiatry for 2 years. She then moved to the United States and then completed her General Psychiatry Residency at Bergen Regional Medical Center in NJ, where she also served as Executive Chief Resident.
