I'm an MD sex and relationship therapist in Manhattan, Associate Clinical Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, a frequent guest on national media, and the author of the new book "Love Worth Making: How to Have Ridiculously Great Sex in a Long-Lasting Relationship" (St Martin's Press, 2018). Unlike most sex therapists, I'm also an M.D. --- which can be important since sexuality is on the border between the mind and the body.
Sex problems can leave you extremely demoralized. What makes my day is when someone leaves my office feeling more hopeful than when they walk in. As a consultant I see many clients who have failed in conventional sex or couples therapy, and I take particular satisfaction in being able to help clients whom no one else has been able to help or understand.
