We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD and cognitive and behavioral concerns for all ages. Since I have both ADHD & dyslexia, we understand these conditions from a personal as well as professional standpoint. Using my strength-based approach, we help you tap into those strengths, and minimize the struggles using effective and proven methods, both with and without medication.

My 17 years of professional medical experience include outpatient care and inpatient care; including both general hospital and mental health facilities. Having been trained and employed by McLean Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School, I learned a great deal about a wide variety of mental health conditions.

I run an esketamine clinic at a Boston teaching hospital, and am now accepting patients in my private practice in MetroWest. I offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for people who have tried initial treatments, and are hoping to deepen their insights and awareness.

I am double board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. I believe in using both medication when indicated as well as therapy. I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. During my residency I served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Overall Excellence in Psychiatry Award as well as the Clinical Excellence Award.

My ideal client would understand that the journey to wellness and recovery requires time, effort, and patience. They would be receptive to treatment suggestions which may include psychotherapy, behavioral interventions, and medication options. My patients would take an active role in their care, and engage in open and honest communication with their provider.

Dr. Bijoy Mathew is a knowledgeable clinician who is committed to creating a successful and therapeutic relationship by building trust with his patients. He is caring and compassionate, and seeks to collaborate to deliver the best individualized care. He earned his medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He did his psychiatric training at Columbia University Medical Center where he completed his residency in General Adult Psychiatry and his fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

She is skilled in assessing patients' needs and collaborating with them to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs.
