This is an 8 week therapeutic support group for individuals wanting to learn body based techniques to improve their coping skills associated with anxiety, depression and chronic stress. Many people benefit from additional techniques to talk therapy, known in the counseling world as the "bottom up" approach, to help overcome their symptoms. Using a bottom up approach, we will work on body based therapies to help regulate our autonomic nervous system, to help to manage and alleviate symptoms. Our focus will be on yoga poses, breathing techniques, mindfulness activities and art therapy.
