Yoga-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Y-CBT) is a 6-week group treatment model led by a Licensed Mental Health Clinician specifically trained in Y-CBT, which blends the effective techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with yogic exercises, breathing, and teachings. ? Seated poses are used in combination with the mind-body connection taught in the traditions of Yoga to simultaneously calms the anxiety of the mind and eases stress in the body. ? Y-CBT is a research based psychological treatment that combines the scientifically documented effects of yoga with cognitive behavioral therapy.
