Women's Trauma Group
Trauma-focused group for women wishing to improve distressing emotions and begin to process/resolve past traumas with a holistic group format. Michele Litwin, NP, will be facilitating this weekly group using such modalities as body awareness, mindfulness, supportive group discussions, and coping skills education. Dialectical Behavior Therapy
Patients will be introduced to the four modules of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (Mindfulness, Relationship Effectiveness, Emotional Regulation, Distress Tolerance) and how these skills will enable them to have a quality life worth living. We never thought we would lose a close person to addiction. If you have experienced the loss of a loved one or close friend to the disease of addiction, this group will be helpful in processing, sharing and moving through the grief experience. This group is open for men and women.
