My motivation for working with children and young adults comes from personal experiences as a coach. It starts with a safe environment, cultivating the foundation of growth and development, while empowering youth to lead fulfilling lives. My experience managing substance use disorders within the community has provided a better understanding for those struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, or even changes in mood and sleep effected from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Strong and good is an open group for women desiring a space for connection, processing, and support. This group is designed for women looking to go deeper with peers, in a weekly format that allows for connection and insight to lead us to a place of loving our strong and good self. This group is open to anyone who identifies as female and who wants to explore an authentic and safe space for going deeper in their connection to self/other. Cost is offered as a sliding scale, $160-$240 per month, with the ask of a 3 month commitment.

I enjoy working with individual adults and teens through a systemic and relational lens. I work with adults to build and strengthen a deeper sense of self by exploring who we are in our relationship with self and others. I am interested in working with couples to build more closeness and safety through an emotionally focused approach to help strengthen the bond and consequently felt security and intimacy in that relationship. I also offer walk & talk, as well as other movement based therapies to help incorporate our bodies in the healing process.
I'm a certified Circle of Security Parent Facilitator. These groups run in 8 week sessions, for one hour and 15 minutes each meeting. Furthermore, if you and/or your spouse are interested in individually doing the group, details can be worked out to accommodate your needs.

I work with individuals and families from an attachment perspective. I have worked extensively with children ages three and up in individual and family therapy, utilizing play, art and talk therapies to help individuals handle challenging situations at home and/or school, or within their own internal world. I can help children build resilience, self-reliance, and their self-regulatory skills. I work with parents, helping them to better meet their children's needs while fostering a better relationship. I work with adults on the myriad of life transitions they are working through, helping them better cope with their everyday stresses.

But if you are here now, reading this, you are actively looking for new ways to parent and interact with your children. And that's huge! We know through decades of research that caregiver/parent self-reflection is the single greatest catalyst for positive change, in addition to feeling connected to and supported by others. That is where Circle of Security Parenting comes in! Learning how to identify and meet the emotional needs of our children, while staying balanced ourselves.

Non-judgemental sharing and support for adults; sharing your stuff will help others and get it off your chest; caring and listening to others will help you see your world differently. Realistically, human beings are herd animals; we need connection and non-judgemental sharing to thrive; we need to have a safe place to feel wanted and cared about, while caring about others. This is that least expensive and best form of therapy.
