Dealing with grief is one is not only extremely difficult, but it can feel very isolating. It's a pain that might be hard to explain to others, so seeking support from others who are also mourning can be a comforting experience. If you've lost a loved one, this support group can provide you with a therapeutic space to process your grief and feel less alone. You'll also learn helpful ways to cope with bereavement. Interpersonal traumatic events such as sexual assault, rape, abuse from childhood, domestic or intimate partner violence, or any other experience that elicits feelings of extreme fear, shame, guilt, and/or loss of safety can cause an array of symptoms that disrupt your daily life. Often times, being a survivor of trauma can be an isolating experience, causing you to feel alone and disconnected from others who just don’t get it. This virtual support group aims to decrease feelings of isolation and provide you with a nonjudgmental and supportive space to heal in the aftermath of interpersonal trauma.

Each person’s response to trauma is unique, shaped by both individual circumstances and inner strengths that have supported their resilience. This virtual support group offers a safe, nonjudgmental space for individuals who have experienced trauma—such as physical, emotional, or sexual abuse; neglect; witnessing violence; domestic abuse; bullying; or prolonged medical hardship. The group focuses on collective healing and empowerment through reflection, connection, and shared understanding. Grounded in positive psychology, sessions explore themes that foster growth and well-being, including mindfulness, gratitude, and post-traumatic growth. Together, members work toward rebuilding a sense of safety, meaning, and resilience in the face of adversity.
