Virtual Body Dysmorphic Disorder Support Group

This processing group was created to support those suffering from body dysmorphic disorder and body image issues. BDD is a painful, psychological condition in which the sufferer is very distressed with aspects of their appearance, such as their skin complexion, hair (too thin, the hairline), nose size, shape, or head shape, size and symmetry. Sufferers will often spend hours in the mirror or avoid them, camouflage with make-up or clothing/accesories, seek reassurance, isolate, abuse substances, and seek cosmetic surgery after surgery either no relief.
