Parenting a "Gifted" Child

Parenting a "gifted" child is a rewarding and often frustrating privilege. Too often, parents expect the school system to address the many needs of their gifted child, but end up disappointed by the lack of understanding and resources in the state of Illinois. This group will address the many facets of parenting a gifted child including identification, education, social and emotional development, etc. If your child has been identified as gifted, or, if you think your child may be gifted and you are looking for guidance on what to do next, this group may be valuable to you!
