It doesn’t really matter if we've been laid off before, losing our jobs is big and scary and harsh. And no matter how well prepared we are for it, no matter how much money we saved or jobs we tried to find before it happened, we still have to face the uncertainty of the future with a mask of capability and strength we don’t always feel.
