The Little Town of Tusk - DND Group Therapy

My name is Daniell Zeigler, and I am a therapist intern at Oregon Healing Collective. I plan to lead an 8-week Dungeons and Dragons-based therapy group for kids in grades 6 to 8 in the Oregon area. This group will allow players to experience an imaginary world that will teach them numerous skills. Some skills include: - Self-regulation, for when there are difficult situations. - Collaboration, to work with their fellow players to solve challenging puzzles. - Other Interpersonal skills like communication, perspective taking, and empathy so you and fellow players can reach a common goal successfully.
