Teen Trauma Group
The brain is wired for connection but trauma wires the brain for protection. Group can be a safe, slow place to be able to heal through connection. Psycho education will be provided, skills will be offering and support given and received by group members. This group is an “open” group meaning new members may join at any time if there is still an opening.

“We don’t heal in isolation, but in community” S. Kelley Harrell It can be especially difficult to build a community of support when depression can leave us exhausted and wanting to isolate. Group can become a place of healing connection with peers. Together we can learn about symptoms of depression, how they are expressed in us as individuals. While coping skills are important it is also important to improve the connection with the body. Cost $5-25 with sliding scale. Some insurances accepted.
