Teen Empowerment group "Talk2me Teens"
This group is to support teens and we will explore dilemmas, situations, and other challenges that arise during the adolescents years. Topics to explore will be: self-esteem, confidence building, depression, behavioral changes, grief, parental relationship distress, conflict resolution, expression of identity and individuality. The group meets for 6 weeks for 60 minutes. It is designed for each participant to have a voice and be heard in a safe, mindful and non judgmental environment. Teens can expect to learn coping skills, utilizing their strengths, receive support and resources towards self discovery.

This group provides parenting education with a focus on promoting effective parenting practices and enhance participants knowledge, skills, and attitudes regarding parenting. Positive parenting practices impact the way our children develop socially, emotionally and intellectually. Participants will learn simple and practical strategies to enhance parenting practices and behaviors utilizing a strength based approach.. The group meets virtually every other Monday at 6:30p EST for 75 minutes. You will have the chance to collaborate with other parents, receive support and resources that are relevant to meet your parenting needs.
