Teen Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Accepting registrants for our Saturday Teen DBT group! DBT is an evidence-based cognitive behavioral treatment that is proven effective to alleviate emotional distress and suffering. The group is open to adolescents 13-17 years old interested in developing skills that will increase awareness of thoughts, urges and feelings. (18 year old HS Seniors are also welcome). With active engagement in the group, teens will develop increased ability to cope with intense emotion, decrease impulsive and self-destructive behaviors, and learn how to effectively communicate needs.
