Teen DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) Group

This is an 8-week DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) psycho-educational skills group that teaches core mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness skills to teens. The group provides healthy coping skills that will help teens manage extreme emotions, control thoughts and decrease behaviors that get in the way of everyday functioning. The next group will begin in Sept. 28, 2026. These groups are in-person and I have 3 parent meetings that are held virtually.

Teen and Young Adult DBT Workshops
DBT Workshops provide an overview of Dialectical Behavior Therapy in a one-time psychoeducational setting. DBT can introduce new ways of thinking about emotions and problems that may arise when faced with stress in typical life settings. Our DBT workshops give individuals in similar life stages the chance for positive peer connections as well as tangible and skills to try when experiencing distress and overwhelm. // Teen Workshops (for students in 8th – 12th grades): Monday, December 14, 2026 and Monday, February 22, 2026 // Young Adult Workshop (for ages 18-25): Monday, January 11, 2027 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm
