Teen Coping Skills Group and Parent Support Group
Our Teen AND Parent Group is for families wanting to learn how to deal with those BIG teen emotions. The teen will have their own safe space with a counselor to vent, share, build community, and learn coping skills while the parent(s) will have their own separate group and counselor to do the same and learn how to help their teen apply new skills. The goal is to bring peace and ease to your household and help you both learn ways to diffuse the stress and overwhelm. 8 weeks, 2 therapists, 2 safe spaces, 1 learning and dealing unit.

This group is for queer teens looking for an uplifting community and positive vibes! Many (if not most) teens feel alone and misunderstood, and queer teens in particular are at risk of lacking a supportive community. Join us every Tuesday evening for fun activities centered around reducing stress, increasing emotion regulation skills, and self-acceptance, self-compassion, and empowerment. Our goal is for teens to leave this group with an awareness of their values, recognition of their many strengths, and an assortment of coping skills.
