A PsychoEducational Group for parents of teens that focuses on multiple teen related issues: depression, anxiety, anger, mood swings, & other unpleasant feelings; academic & social stressors; peer relationships; dating; independence & responsibilities; risky behaviors (alcohol, drugs, reckless driving, unprotected sex); body image; self esteem; emotional crises; technology; bullying; peer pressure; working teens; the impact of the parental relationship on teens. Dr. Mayo-Dvir & Dr. Varda Small provide an educational overview as well as a variety of practical tools & tips to assist parents in developing an effective parenting approach that results in a healthy parent-child relationship and promotes the growth of happy, fulfilled, and successful adults.
