Survivors of Suicide Support Group

If you have lost a loved one by suicide the pain, shock, and confusion can seem unbearable; you are not alone. Suicide loss survivors share a singular bond. While each situation is unique, survivors can experience similar feelings, questions, and complex grief. The suicide bereavement process is difficult for people to “navigate” making the topic taboo or even stigmatized. Sharing stories can help facilitate better understanding and healing. In this group you will not be pressured to talk, share your story, or grief. Therapeutic information is offered to survivors to assist in healthy coping and healing skills.

Grief Support Group
This group aims to help individuals cope with loss in their life through support, psycho-education, and self-shared experiences from group members. Grief groups don’t promise to help people stop grieving, but to help people meet others who understand their feelings as a way to normalize the grieving process. Some people may want to talk and share while others will only listen. Our goal for group is to create a space where members feel comfortable sharing stories, crying and talking. Taking the time to deal with difficult, and at times, confusing feelings that grief presents with.
