Heather Malkoff & Associates facilitates an 8 week therapy group for females ages 12-14 and 15-18. Each session utilizes a psycho-educational approach incorporating a social environment with a structured curriculum focused on the improvement of social interaction, self-esteem, and increasing self worth. A number of key themes will be introduced on a weekly basis including: * Healthy interpersonal relationships with friends and family * Healthy romantic relationships * Healthy body image/eating disorders * Sexuality * Expressing self to others/assertiveness training * Social skill building * Family and school problems (divorce, bullying) * Mood issues and coping with stress * Building self-esteem/ self-worth
