Stress Management

NEW GROUP!!!!! Stress Management is a group that meets weekly in the evening for an eight-week series that focuses on developing tools to manage stress. Learn how to elicit your relaxation response by practicing breathing techniques, mindfulness, progressive relaxation, and visualization. Learn coping strategies to deal with worrisome thoughts will also be a subject of discussion. Schedule an appointment for an individual assessment prior to starting the group. DBT Skills Group

Groups meet weekly. Appointments for new client assessments are available. M-F. This group is designed to help Individuals learn and use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills. This group is run like a class, part of the group is spent on reviewing assignments, and part of the group is dedicated to learning skills. The four DBT Skills Modules are: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness.
