Whether you’re wondering when & if you’ll ever feel like yourself again, struggling with identity shifts in motherhood, navigating anxiety, depression, or intrusive thoughts postpartum, or just feeling off in a way you can’t quite explain—you’re not alone. Tender Beginnings is a group offering support for mothers who experienced challenges in pregnancy, birth, postpartum or NICU. In the context of our Tender Beginnings group, we use the term perinatal trauma to name the distressing or overwhelming experiences that can occur during pregnancy, birth, or the early postpartum period—experiences that may leave a lasting imprint on your body, your mind, and your sense of safety as you enter motherhood. Still Holding is a group for mothers navigating grief associated with stillbirth, infant loss and late term loss. Facilitated by a clinician with personal experience of infant loss and professional expertise in perinatal mental health and grief, this group validates that the loss of a baby is a kind of grief that can feel both all-consuming and invisible at the same time.
