What is RPG therapy? The game setting gives people a chance to try out being different in a safe way. Because if it goes badly, it was your character who did that, not you! Therapeutic game masters help modulate players' experimentation with new ways of being so that it is more likely to be a positive or healing experience. CWCC does this through Dungeons & Dragons, Masks, Critical Core, Kids on Bikes, & Hero Kids. These groups are ran throughout the year for various ages and developments. The perceptions, myths, and social expectations that go along with being a woman in our society influence the ways in which women caregivers process and understand their experiences of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse TREM addresses both short – and long – term consequences of victimization and trauma. It emphasizes the development of coping skills and connection with social support. This group is for women who are parents/caregivers. TREM runs throughout the year in person and/virtually.
