Resilient Living: DBT Group for Navigating Life

This DBT skills group is designed for adults facing emotional, psychological, and physical challenges that impact daily life. Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy, participants will learn mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness to navigate both mental health struggles and physical pain with greater resilience. Through skill-building and group support, clients will develop practical strategies to cope with discomfort, reduce emotional suffering, and foster self-empowerment. This group provides a structured yet compassionate space to cultivate strength, self-acceptance, and balance, helping participants move toward greater independence and well-being despite life’s difficulties.

Men's Group
In a safe and confidential environment men are supported in working through the challenges they are having in their romantic, friend, family, and work relationships. In this group men will choose specific relationships that they want to work on. They will be guided in working through internal conflicts that are at play in these relationships, learn to effectively listen to others and communicate their needs in an effort to overcome these challenges. We use relationships within the group as a training ground for developing these skills. In summary, group participants will develop their skills in -Communication, -Listening. -Mindfulness

This group works on self expression and growth in communicating with one another and supporting each other in what each member is working towards and struggling with. This is a mixed group and accepting new members for the Fall 2023.
