Psychotherapy Group

Group is an efficacious form of treatment that is not as well-known as individual therapy even though it is evidence-based. The research shows that group is just as effective and in some cases more effective than individual therapy. Individuals come to group to work through emotional blocks. In group, members build trust and over time come to care about one another. It is a space that offers individuals the opportunity to both learn vicariously and learn by doing.
