Psychodrama/Drama Therapy

A group therapy focused on healing from trauma and internalized oppression, comprised of 6 people. Therapist begins with sociometric, expressive art therapy, drama therapy warm ups to reveal connection between group members. Once the therapeutic container has been build, therapist provides psychoeducation on human development and psychodrama to support clients to identify their work. Clients use psychodrama and drama therapy to heal from past and current trauma. Group therapy provides social support and inspiration as participants witness and act in fellow members work. Participants must be able to self-regulate to participate in group. This is body centered approach.
