Positive Parenting

I help parents identify and navigate challenges, set goals, and utilize evidence-based parenting strategies and psychoeducation to improve family functioning and communication. I specialize in teaching parenting the positive discipline way and supporting parents through behavioral challenges. At the end of this group parents will be able to: understand the goals of misbehavior and how to address them, involve children in problem solving, build mutual respect, understand kind but firm discipline, hold a family meeting effectively, connect with their children on a meaningful level, provide encouragement, understand various parenting styles and temperament, utilize their toolbox of parenting strategies.
