Pop Culture Supervision for MH Clinicians

Have you ever felt stuck with a client in session? Didn’t know what to talk about or how to build rapport? This clinician based group will cover evidence-based, non-traditional approaches to therapy using the client’s strengths and pop culture interests to build therapeutic rapport, improve client confidence, teach skills, and assist clinicians in increasing clinical understanding of different populations, including neurodiverse clients. Pre-Teen or Teen Questing for Change TTRPG

Currently accepting Pre-teens/Teens 15-17. Are you ready for adventure? Join us on a quest for individual change using an immersive, cooperative story-telling experience through tabletop role playing games. Therapeutic tabletop games are an effective way to give participants the opportunity to practice skills, such as problem solving, flexible thinking, conflict resolution, teamwork, and developing a sense of self, in a low stakes environment where learning is fun! Facilitator utilizes in-game safety and consent monitoring systems to ensure a positive, safe, and affirming environment for players of all ages, abilities, and experience levels.

Limited License Counseling Supervision Group

Currently accepting LLC's for group supervision. Provides group license supervision for MI LLC's (limited license counselors.) Participants will be asked to prepare a case consult to present regularly to the group. Resources, networking opportunities with other group members, and case consult services will be offered regularly. Group can be hybrid, will be held 1-2 times per month in Troy. Limited to 4-5 participants to allow for increased participation for all LLCs. Pre-registration is required. 90 minutes per group.
