Parenting your child on the spectrum

Parenting children who do not fit the mold preferred by schools, commercial spaces, and even extended families, can be daunting. No wonder parents feel isolated, exhausted, even despaired. This group will provide support, psycho-education, understanding and safety to parents of children on the spectrum and other developmental disorders. Parents will help each other disentangle feelings that get in the way of healthy parenting, and strategize better ways of being, including advocating for institutional changes to serve the community as a whole. Group will meet on-line until such a time when it feels safe to start meeting in person.
