Parenting w/ Connection - Skills for Raising Teens
Parenting with Connection is an educational and supportive counseling group designed for parents and caregivers of adolescents ages 12–18. Using evidence-based Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills and relationship-focused strategies, this group provides practical tools to help parents respond with confidence, communicate more effectively, and strengthen their connection with their teen. Each session includes education, skill-building, guided discussion, and opportunities to learn alongside other parents who understand the unique challenges of raising teenagers. Our goal is to help you feel more equipped, supported, and connected as you navigate this important stage of your family's journey.

DBT Skills Group
This is a weekly, structured group therapy session that teaches practical skills for managing emotions, tolerating distress, improving relationships, and practicing mindfulness. The skills are based on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, developed by Dr. Marsha Linehan, and combine cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices, emphasizing the integration of opposites such as acceptance and change, validation and challenge, along with other dualities to support growth and healing. The goals of this group are centered around acquiring practical skills, gaining self-awareness, promoting behavioral change, and experiencing peer support. Each session will involve mindfulness practice, a review and check-in, psychoeducation, homework, and goal setting.
