Parenting Groups

This group is a refuge where parents can explore difficult feelings around the specific challenges they face. We look at the unique experiences each of us bring to the group, and together we share stories, listen without judgment, and provide mutual support. As facilitator, I encourage exploration of our identities as parents, and surface common themes. I also explain developmental processes. Most of all, I focus the group on the positive, long-term task of raising a separate, healthy human being. Note: I organize groups around age-ranges, special needs, and other commonalities.
