Parenting can be challenging and it carries a lot of responsibility. You may feel overwhelmed or feel as though you are on your own. It’s important to address these problems, and seeking the help of a therapist and/or parent support group can alleviate the stress. Sometimes a parent needs guidance reinforcing rules and setting boundaries for a child. If a person is going through a divorce, this can affect the children involved. Each of this issues can affect a family unit, and parent support groups assist with improving parenting skills and the relationships between the parent and child.
