“Am I on the right path? Why does everyone have it together? What can I do now?” Adulthood opens a brand new chapter, bringing you to greater heights. Adulthood also brings new challenges of uncertainty, expectations, and responsibility. These worries can leave people feeling isolated or lost on their path. Grounded and Growing offers you a landing spot, a supportive space to talk openly about the realities of adulthood. We’re here to process and connect with others who are navigating very similar challenges. If you feel stuck in the “in-between” right now, this can be your outlet.

If you are interested in exploring ongoing patterns of unhealthy relationship dynamics by addressing family of origin issues in order to become more psychologically flexible and resilient, you are welcome. Be warned, this work is not easy. It will be challenging and will require you to access courage that you probably have yet to access. Ambivalence is okay, but curiosity about your experiences and the experiences of others is necessary.

IFS is very effective for connecting with and unburdening the parts of us that we have isolated due to feelings of anxiety, abandonment and shame.

I work with individuals and couples who find themselves stuck in patterns shaped by love, loss, and feelings of inadequacy— often showing up as anxiety, fear of abandonment, panic, intrusive thoughts, communication and intimacy struggles, or grief rooted in chronic illness, pain, and losses that are not recognized by society: the parent or family you didn't have, or dream that never came to be.

Many people feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or intense emotional reactions and want clearer tools to manage them. This small therapeutic group helps participants understand emotional patterns while learning strategies to regulate stress and improve well-being. Using the Cognitive Behavioral Triangle, participants explore how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact while recognizing overt and subtle signs of stress, anxiety, and depression. Members learn cognitive and somatic coping strategies that support emotional regulation and resilience. The group includes resource mapping and “cope ahead” planning, so participants leave with practical tools for daily life. Small group format | Educational + therapeutic | Begins April 2026

If you notice similar relationship dynamics showing up again and again, this group is for you. My colleague and I developed this program based on our clinical work and training, including at the University of Pennsylvania. This group is for adults in their 40s who are single, dating, or going through a breakup or divorce and want to build healthier relationships. This is an 8-week closed group, meaning the same participants attend each session, so a commitment to all sessions is important. You’ll learn to understand your attachment patterns, recognize your needs, set boundaries, and communicate more clearly

This group can be brought to your teen's school or to their specific friend group. Since the onset of COVID, we have seen a continual increase in bullying, stress, depression, emotional dysregulation, and anxiety in teens. This group is designed to support teens in naming what they are experiencing, unpacking how it shows up in their life and finding solutions and tools to minimize, manage and eliminate those stressors. Some topics include social anxiety, loss of friendships, academic stress, suicidal thoughts and etc... Our goal is to provide participants with scripts and tools that they can independently use across all settings.

This group uses the foundational powerful practices from the award-winning Deconstructing Anxiety method. Participants bring whatever problems they wish to resolve, deconstruct them down to their core fear, understand how some form of the chief defense is backfiring to make the problem a problem, and use the master key to healing: “doing the opposite of the defense”. Powerful structures and strong community support help ensure real growth each week. 6 CE credits per month available (This group has many therapists but also lay people--appropriate for anyone interested in personal growth). See www.toddpressman.com/group-coaching to register.
