Online Compassion, Clarity, & Connection class

This 4-week online class supports building resilience through the practices of mindfulness and compassion, cultivating the heart and mind for difficult times. We will co-create a nourishing community of women, emphasizing connection and support. Topics to be explored include: cultivating presence, befriending ourselves in difficult moments, the body as an anchor, grief and gratitude, joy and resilience, and how to bring wise action to the many complexities of the world right now. Online Mindful Self Compassion-Short Course
The Short Course in Mindful Self-Compassion (SC-MSC) is a 6-week adaptation of the empirically-supported 8-week program designed to support cultivation of a targeted set of MSC practices with less initial time commitment than the full 26-hour MSC program. It teaches core principles and practices that enable participants to respond to difficult moments in their daily lives with self-kindness, mindful awareness, and a deep understanding that suffering is part of our common humanity. Mindful Self Compassion 8 week in person course
MSC is an 8-week class designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion. Based on the work of Kristin Neff, Christopher Germer, and the UCSD mindfulness center, MSC teaches core principles and practices that enable participants to respond to difficult moments in their lives with self kindness, mindful awareness, and a deep understanding that suffering is part of our common humanity. Program activities include meditation, short talks, experiential exercises, group discussion, and home practices.
