Online Anxiety Support Group

The purpose of the group is for clients with generalized anxiety or other anxiety disorders to come together, process and support one another in their journeys. While this group will not follow a rigid curriculum, it will be organized around rotating sets of topics, accompanied by light group activities and education about various coping skills. But the main goal is for participants to learn from one another, to not be alone, and to see how others make it through each day.

Online DBT Group

DBT stands for Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. DBT is a structured treatment approach that uses 4 main components which are distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness. DBT is rooted in finding the balance between acceptance and change. We can accept and validate our feelings with the goal of changing how we react, process, and behave. Each week, the group will speak about one of the four components and learn skills on how to use these techniques in their day to day life. Light homework will also be assigned to practice learned skills between sessions.

The Keys to Solving your OCD

This an 8-week online group offered to individuals of any gender. Group members will learn to identify common symptoms and subtypes of OCD, understand types of evidence-based treatments, and learn a variety of coping strategies to manage and decrease OCD symptoms. Brief group activities will be facilitated to enhance group members’ learning experience and ability to utilize the skills discussed. While this is not a process group, the group will provide an opportunity for members to come together to learn from each other as they break the stigma of OCD and enhance their recovery process.
