Online Open COVID-19 Impact Group (Individuals)
This group is targeted for individuals whose life has been impacted by the COVID-19 situation. Each session will include education about ways that can help people get through these times as well as opportunities to explore challenges people are having as well as emotions (anxiety, fear, sadness, depression, isolation, frustration, etc). Sessions are limited to those who are physically in New York State during the session and are targeted for those who are in the areas we regularly serve. Sessions are free with donations accepted. Faith Group Leader Support Group
Faith group leaders (pastors, ministers, rabbis, etc) face particular challenges based on their vocational work. Often, the people that are around them are not people that they can go to because of the professional involvement that they have with them. This group provides the environment for peer support as well as the input of a mental health professional (who is also an ordained clergyperson) in cases where the impact has been even more significant. Join us to be with colleagues outside your normal circle. We will meet monthly.

Couples face particular challenges during the current COVID-19 situation and being isolated at home. Couples are used to being together and safely apart, but the situation now is different. Each session will include education about ways that can help couples get through these times as well as opportunities to explore challenges, emotions and changes in their relationships that couples are having. Sessions are limited to couples physically in NY during the session and are targeted for those from the communities we serve. Sessions are free with donations accepted.
