A 5-week workshop for parents navigating the messy middle of adulting. If your 18–25 year old is technically grown but still at home, avoiding next steps, emotionally reactive, overwhelmed, or unsure how to launch, this is for you. We’ll focus on practical skills that reduce conflict while supporting independence. Topics include building real-world readiness, managing emotional escalation, interrupting the anxiety–avoidance cycle, validating without enabling, creating independence, and aligning goals between parent and young adult. Designed for families in the transition from “almost adult” to stepping into life with confidence, accountability, and developmentally appropriate autonomy.

Parenting is an amazing and challenging experience. It can feel like there are a million things to do, and time can somehow drag on and fly by at the same time. This group is designed to be a support for parents, to provide skills and opportunities to slow down, be present, and connect to your children, yourself, and your life in ways that feel meaningful to you. Learn and practice mindfulness in the context of being a parent, while having the opportunity to connect with other parents in the challenges of being present in today’s overstimulating and busy world.

Frustrated, puzzled by your kids needs and their expression of their needs? This is for you. This program changed my life. While participating in the group, you’ll learn a framework for understanding: 1. What your child really needs from you at any given moment 2. What gets in the way of your meeting those needs & how to navigate those obstacles 3. What to do when you inevitably make parenting mistakes 4. How to raise a truly secure child. The group is facilitated. The program uses video vignettes of child- parent interactions and interviews, visual diagrams.
