Interpersonal Therapy Group
Research indicates that group therapy is the most effective form of treatment and promotes interpersonal skills and lasting behavioral change. Groups are composed of 8 members (4 men and 4 women) who meet once per week for 90 minutes. Members Improve the quality of their lives by learning cognitive and relationship skills that (1) enhance relationships in social, work, and family settings, and (2) reduce anxiety, depression, obsessive/compulsive, and other self-defeating behaviors. Groups are made up of professionals and non-professionals who work on a variety of issues including marital/family/parenting problems, work problems, ADD, divorce, grief/loss, and life transitions.
