This group is designed to help participants recognize the ways codependency has negatively impacted their lives and relationships, while offering practical tools and strategies to break free from its grip. Our focus is on understanding these patterns, healing from within, and building a foundation of self-love, empowering each person to embrace their true potential and live authentically.

Are you an individual who is having difficulty managing day-to-day stressors? Are you feeling depressed, anxious, constantly criticizing yourself and not so sure on how to tell that inner critic in your head to take a step back? If so, your goal could be breaking free from unhelpful thinking patterns and introducing stress management techniques. I have helped and guided many people who have made that first step into taking control of their life.
Offered 2 to 3 times per year, the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Groups are modeled after the curriculum developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at Umass. Participants learn to incorporate mindfulness practices into their daily lives though experiential exercises, guided meditations practiced together and at home, & group discussions. By learning to turn towards their lives with a compassionate, non-judging attention, participants learn to embrace the present moment and shift their relationship to the judgments, ruminations, and anxieties that can so often lead to a sense of dissatisfaction and dis-ease in their lives. Please see website for upcoming courses.
Bringing a careful, curious & compassionate attention to ourselves and our present situation is often the first step in any journey of healing or self-discovery. In our work together, I will encourage you to join me in a non-judging, non-blaming attitude of curiosity towards yourself, your past and current experiences and relationships, and whatever comes forward during our meetings together. For me, this curiosity includes elements of deep respect for what is known and not known about what shapes our sense of who we are and what drives our moods and behaviors.
We offer a 15-week Anger Management group that meets the requirements of the courts. This group is for working, non-addicted adults. At the end of the course clients will receive a certificate of completion. At present, this group meets every Saturday morning and is $50/week. Additional group times are offered, depending on demand.
