Teen Support Groups in Audubon, NJ

When athletes have to take a step back from sport, they lose their physical outlet, community, and even identity. This can hit especially hard for teens. If your teen is on the bench, we’d love them to join us for a group designed specifically to support them.

This group specializes in working with people who suffer with anxiety & depression & who have considered suicide. The facilitators use various techniques to teach participants ways to manage their symptoms outside of group meetings. Struggling with these issues can often cause feelings of shame, guilt and embarrassment, which can lead to detachment from friends, family and other important relationships. This group allows for connection with others battling the same things in order to lessen the feelings of isolation. This is a closed group that meets for 6 weeks, starting April 9th 2020. Full Participation required. HSA & FSA accepted for payment. Call Now to reserve your space.

Teen Support Groups
Therapy support groups for teens in Audubon provide support during the transitional period where teens can bring up issues of independence and self-identity in a supportive environment.

Group therapy brings adolescents together who struggle with similar issues. It creates a safe space for teens to connect and support one another, while learning beneficial skills from an experienced therapist who serves as the group leader. Group therapy is an option that teens should consider as a powerful therapy alternative.
