NEW! Caring for aging parents
I am preparing to start a group for adults dealing with the financial and emotional complications of caring for aging parents who are infirm or showing signs of dementia. Members will share information gathered for how to problem solve and the group will also focus on the feeling that this brings up. This kind of burden can be especially difficult if the relationship with the parent(s) was complicated or negative to begin with. The group will meet in person in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn

Process Group
Mixed race and gender group ages 40-late 50's. Members are also in individual therapy. Work is focused on identifying in-the-moment feelings and expressing them safely and clearly. Members have experienced depression and come from dysfunctional families of origin. current and past challenges are discussed. This is an ongoing group meeting in Bed Stuy Brooklyn and has room for some new members.
