This is an advanced and challenging group for clients wishing to work through attachment and intimacy issues. One full year of DBT skills is a requirement, plus the ability to regulate their emotions. Clients will be triggered, and must be willing to be transparent and open in group.

RO DBT is a new evidence-based treatment that targets over-controlled behavior. Excessive self control often leads to social isolation, emotional loneliness, chronic depression, treatment resistant anxiety, anorexia nervosa, obsessive-compulsive, avoidant & paranoid personality disorders and autism spectrum disorders. 30 week class (ongoing and open), can start anywhere in the cycle. 3-4 individual preparation appts are required before starting the class. Study the "self" that you have inside through this group by experiencing others. With patience and practice, we can all provide confidential and safe feedback for one another in this group. Knowledge of common emotions is suggested before joining. Ability to give positive feedback is helpful. Experience with art is not required.
