MultiFamily Group

The DBT multifamily group brings together adolescents and their parents or caregivers to learn and practice Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills. The group focuses on building emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness for both teens and their families. By learning these skills together, families can better understand each other’s experiences, improve communication, and reduce conflicts. Led by a trained therapist, the group fosters a collaborative, supportive environment where families can address challenges collectively, strengthen relationships, and create a healthier dynamic at home. The shared learning process promotes accountability, connection, and growth for both teens and parents.
