No matter what age you were when you lost your mom, with that loss you "lost part of yourself." This supportive group will allow for mutual listening to stories, shared memories, and honoring the woman -- the real person -- who brought you into this world and/or raised you. Please attend if you are ready to share with others the journey you are on, kindly listen to others, and move forward together.

"The pen is mightier than the sword," and sometimes we do need power tools to help us work through changes, losses, and move forward to activate our potential. This group -- which can be divided into subgroups -- is open to any woman in transition. You may be a new mom; you may be a career changer; you may have a chronic illness you are striving to accept. Come to the group to write, to share your writing, to read inspiring writing, and to enjoy support and compassion. We will strive to recharge for the coming week.

Veterans Moving Ahead
There are many resources available to veterans, and this group's uniqueness is its emphasis on positive psychology, goal setting, and moving ahead. I completed internship experiences at a veterans administration facility and feel that affordable coaching and relaxation training should be among the services readily available.
