The experience of motherhood is all encompassing, it touches and transforms every area of a women's life- yet the process of becoming a mother, also known as Matrescence (Ma-tre-scence rhymes with Adolescence) is rarely talked about in our culture. In an unhurried way, we will unpack ideals and beliefs of motherhood, slow down anxious thoughts, practice compassionate inner self-talk, and learn to help balance the invisible “mother load”. A group for women to process and practice their relationship with boundaries. In our culture, most women are NOT taught boundaries or we learned to be accommodating with a message of “go along to get along”, abandon one's needs to make others comfortable. If you are a deeply feeling, sensitive, empathic, people-pleaser, afraid to disappoint others, and put others first only to feel resentful afterward, then this group is for you.
