Motherhood as a Journey of Transformation

Most discussions of motherhood focus on the effects of mothering on the child. In this workshop, we will focus on how having a child affects the mother. Using dreams, fairy tales, personal essays, and other material, we will explore themes such as time, loss, creativity, the shadow, and claiming our own authority. Through this exploration, we will learn how motherhood can be a catalyst for growing into whom we were meant to be.
